Y1DZ--556-25-102 Green House Homes Steam (VA-26-00036216)
Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, quality assurance, and supervision for renovations resulting in a complete, compliant, and fully-functional project as described throughout the contract documents including the drawings and specifications. The purpose of this project is to provide steam service to Green House Homes 201 and 202. Existing gas fired hot water boilers (2 per home) and gas fired steam generators (1 per home) are to be replaced.
Steam-to-Hot Water heat exchangers will replace gas fired hot water boilers and clean steam duct mounted humidifiers will replace exiting setup. Both homes are anticipated to be occupied during work. Construction will be phased to reduce impact on residents and FHCC operations, see sheet MS100.
Removal and installation of duct mounted humidifier will be a one-day event (per home) due to AHU shutdown. All material will be required to be on site, and interior of ductwork immediately near installation will be clean and free of debris prior to AHU being returned to service.
