Road Patching & Resurfacing

Oconee County is seeking to establish an annual contract for the repair, rehabilitation and resurfacing of various roads throughout the County. Contractor must be GDOT pre-certified. All materials shall be in accordance with the GDOT Quality Products List (QPL).

Bid Documents can be found at www.bidnetdirect.com//oconeecounty.

A bid bond* in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and a Consent of Surety must be included with your bid submission prior to the bid closing. The Consent of Surety shall state that upon award of agreement, a Performance and Payment bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the total agreement amount can be furnished. *Surety companies executing bonds must be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia.

Pursuant to Georgia law, no bids will be considered without an executed E-Verify affidavit. The successful bidder will be required to pay sales and use tax on materials purchased or used on this project. Progress payments and retainage for construction shall be submitted to owner monthly and payment terms are net-thirty

This Public Works project shall commence within ten

  1. days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall be completed within one hundred sixty (160) calendar days thereafter, unless otherwise specified.

Questions regarding technical specifications clarification or interpretation of this ITB must be submitted electronically via BidNet Direct www.bidnetdirect.com//oconeecounty and shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on October 8 , 2026.

Addendum 1 - The quantity for line item 006 on the 2027 LMIG Bid Schedule printed incorrectly. Please use the updated 2027 LMIG Bid Schedule reflecting a quantity of 31,172 TN.
