The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Portland District has a requirement for an FOB destination supply procurement of a commercial 20-ton refrigerated closed-loop water chiller system for a large transformer. The requirement includes associated 3-inch diameter piping, valving, a fused disconnect, and a 480V Panelboard with breakers.

The system is intended to support transformer cooling water operations during reservoir drawdown at Lookout Point Powerhouse in Lane County, Oregon. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333415 Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.
