Justification for Other Than Full and Open - Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System California
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) awarded Contract No. 75D30126P21605 to the California Department of Public Health for the Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System California. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis pursuant to RFO FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
The requirement is for the identification and provision of California vital records necessary to support CDC's Pregnancy Mortality Surveillance System. The California Department of Public Health is the sole legal custodian and authoritative source of the required California vital records. Market research confirmed that the required records are maintained exclusively by the State of California and are not available from other sources in the required format.
The contract includes a 12-month Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods. The Base Period value is $10,074.43, and the total potential contract value, is $49,012.15. In accordance with RFO Part 6, the approved Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) is being made publicly available with this notice.
