Bighorn National Forest Prospectus for Concessions and Related Granger-Thye Concessions
This prospectus is being issued to solicit applications for a concession campground special use permit. A permit or permits to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of Government-owned recreation facilities located on the Powder River, Medicine Wheel, and Tongue Ranger Districts, Bighorn National Forest, will be issued. The permit or permits will include 31 campgrounds and 2 picnic grounds.
A facility tour led by the Forest is scheduled for September 25 and 26, 2026. Interested parties must RSVP to Andrea Maichak at [email on the source notice] by Friday, September 18, 2026. All applications must be received by close of business (4:30 p.m.) on Friday, October 30, 2026.
