The City of Cleveland (the “City”) is requesting proposals from qualified companies with demonstrated experience in, and thorough knowledge of, security services, with the primary goal of increasing safety and security at various City recreation centers, outdoor pools, and surrounding play areas as identified. The proposal requires the use of armed, uniformed, commissioned officers (hereafter referred to as “off-duty police officers or sheriffs”).

The term of this contract will begin on the date of execution through November 30, 2027. Respondents should bid at an hourly rate for their services and propose how the officers will interact with youth as they provide security services. Provide the type of youth program activities the officers have either overseen or have participated in within the last two

  1. years.

Officers must be willing to provide assistance with recreation activities as requested.
