The purpose of this procurement is to establish a one-year, as-needed contract with one supplier to provide lead-safe work practice equipment, contractor safety supplies, assembled homeowner lead safety kits, and related equipment necessary to support the City's Lead Reduction Program.

The contract will allow the City to order supplies as program participants are enrolled and trained. Estimated quantities provided in this solicitation are for planning purposes only and do not represent a guarantee of purchase. Actual quantities purchased will depend on program participation, funding availability, and operational needs.

The City anticipates purchasing approximately:

120 pairs of contractor steel toe boots or safety shoes

120 EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Compliance Kits

100 assembled Homeowner Lead Safety Kits

25 Mobile Containment Units

The City reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities based on program needs. Items within kits may be subject to change.

The City of St. Petersburg administers a federally funded Lead Reduction Program designed to reduce lead-based paint hazards in eligible residential properties and promote healthier living environments for City residents. Funding for this program is provided through the U.S.

Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The program supports lead hazard reduction activities through contractor training, implementation of EPA lead-safe work practices, homeowner education, and home remediation projects.

As part of program implementation, the City provides contractors with equipment necessary to perform lead-safe renovation activities and provides participating homeowners with assembled lead safety kits containing cleaning supplies and educational materials that encourage ongoing lead-safe maintenance practices within the home.

The resulting contract will support program operations through the current grant period, which is scheduled to conclude on May 1, 2027 .
