The County of DeKalb, GA (the "County"), is soliciting sealed Bids for Snapfinger Woods Sidewalk Construction with Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (12 Months) . Bids are to be submitted via the County's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/dekalbcountyga PRIOR TO 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2026 . Late Bids will not be accepted.
The work consists of construction of sidewalk on Snapfinger Woods Drive from near East Wesley Chapel Way to Friendly Heights Boulevard. Included in the work is a new mid-block crossing with a pedestrian hybrid beacon (PHB). The PHB installation is to be done by a firm that is a GDOT Prequalified Contractor or Registered Subcontractor - Work Class 647 - Traffic Signal Installation.
All PHB equipment shall have a black finish. Work also includes milling and resurfacing the roadway and installation of storm drain pipe up to 6o inches in size.
