Description of Requirements: The field portable handheld-X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometric device is required to measure and determine the presences and elemental concentrations in soils and sediment deposits.
Specifically, the XRF device must be able to detect elemental distributions to identify potential rare earth ores, sensitive wasted dredged deposits, and assess the chemical makeup of in-tack and weathered geological materials.
