The total project, including all sections and add alternates, consists of the following approximate quantities: 325 TON CL 13 Aggregate Surfacing 260 LF 10” PVC – Č900 6, 100 TON SuperpaveFAA 43 12 EA Inlet Catch Basin 6,550 GAL CRS2P Emulsified Asphalt 4,171 SSY TRM 1 – Coconut Turf Reinforcement 1 LS Roadway and Ditch Reshaping 600 CY Topsoil – Imported 310 SY Tied ConcreteBlock Mat Traffic Control and all miscellaneous work necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Each bid will be submitted on the basis of a cash payment for work.
Bids submitted via QuestCDN On-Line Bid Only and shall be designatedthat the bid is for “Fort Ransom State Park, Lookout Point Road Improvements, Project #PI150503-21, Řansom County, North Dakota.” The bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond submitted electronically via QuestCDNOM-Line Bidding in the amount offive percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety Company authorized to do business ın North Dakota. If the Principal’s bid is accepted by the OWNER and the contract awarded, the principal, within ten
- days after the Notice of Award, will be required to execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms ofthe principal’s bid and any requirements and conditionsof the Owner.
A Contractor’s Bond, as required by Section 48 01.2-10 of the North Dakota Century Code, shall be included with the executed Contract Documents. The Bid Security shall be as required in Section 48 01 .2-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. All bidders must be licensedfor the highest amount of their bids, as required by Section 43 07 07 of the North Ďakota Čentury Code and a copy of the license OR certificate of renewal thereof issued shall be enclosedin the required bid bond envelope.
No bid will be read OI considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will not be accepted and opened. The OWNER retains the right to reject any OR all of the bids submit–ted and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold all bids for a period not to exceed thirty
- days from said date of opening and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed sixty
- days from said date of bid opening.
The work shall be completed during the 2027 Construction Season. The work is to commence upon a date to be specifiedby the OWNER, notice of which will be given to the suc–cessful bidder ten
- days in advance of the start of construc–tion.
The Contractor will be required to commence construction and complete all work for the project by June 19, 2027.
