FIRE ALARM REPLACEMENT IDIQ

The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), plans to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to replace and repair fire alarm systems at U.S. Embassies, Consulates, Missions and Branch Offices worldwide.

The Department has more than 268 diplomatic facilities that must keep operating during emergencies and crises, and about 120 of their fire alarm systems have passed their end of life and no longer have manufacturer support. Under individual task orders, the contractor will remove existing equipment, furnish, install, program and test new fire alarm systems, perform repairs, and deliver fire alarm materials to overseas sites, including remote and high-threat locations.
