Conduct Water Study on Kaho`olawe Island

The Kahoʻolawe Island Reserve Commission (KIRC) seeks to develop a comprehensive Water Development Study to address the island’s limited freshwater availability and deteriorating catchment infrastructure. This effort will guide future investments in sustainable water collection, storage, and management systems to support ongoing restoration and revegetation efforts on Kahoʻolawe.

Amendment: KIRC Internal decision team is stretched thin with all the hurricane damage on Kaho`olawe. Extending offer due date to 10/16/26 2pm Hawaii Time.
