Clinch County FY 2025 LMIG- Sidewalk Improvements

Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of the Sidewalk improvements on Carswell Street, Fiscal Year 2025 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) until 10:30 AM (local time), Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at which time bids will be opened and read.

The meeting will be held at the Clinch County Board of Commissioners Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed to the attention of Jaclyn James, County Administrator for the Clinch County Board of Commissioners, 22 Court Square, Suite B Homerville, Georgia 31634. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered.

Clinch County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

The Scope of Work Includes: 2025 Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) Sidewalk Improvements to Carswell Street

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Clinch County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Clinch County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.

The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Clinch Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within

  1. days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract.

All work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of date work begins.
