Children's Residential Intensive Services Program (ChRIS)
DBH RFQ #25-99 for Children's Residential Intensive Services See RFQ for more information.
San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified organizations and agencies to provide a proposed plan for the provision of Children's Residential Intensive Services (ChRIS) in Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTP). This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is Round One of an ongoing procurement process with additional solicitation Rounds to be released in ePro at future dates.
The ChRIS program is an intensive treatment program that utilizes STRTPs and the values and principles of the Integrated Core Practice Model to provide necessary services during the period of placement and up to two months after the child/youth has left the STRTP, in order to facilitate a successful transition to a lower level of care. ChRIS allows for the provision of Specialty Mental Health Services to children and youth in residential settings.
This RFQ is being released to ultimately allow DBH to compile an active list of eligible service providers to be used on a case-by-case basis. DBH makes no guarantee of minimum or maximum number of children and youth referrals and/or revenue as a result of a contractual agreement between DBH and provider.
Vendors must read the attached RFQ and respond to the proposal submission requirements.
Pre-bid conference: Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 10:00 am. Please see RFQ for more information.
