The Coast Guard anticipates one dry dock availability every three years, and one dockside availability each year in between. The Coast Guard requests industry input on the viability of such a contract. Companies which would be interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should reply to this sources sought notice noting their business size/status such as large business, small business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned, Women Owned Small Business etc..

Further if there are no past performance evaluations on file in the Past Performance Information System Retrieval database, contractors should provide a couple past performance references including the following information: contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. Also please provide your company input on meeting this requirement through a multiple or single award multi-year IDIQ contract, to include recurring maintenance and possible non-recurring maintenance (engineering changes in development) onboard CGC Healy, with the desire to complete all maintenance under the same contract; this includes maintenance requiring a drydock availability and maintenance that can be accomplished pier side. Replies should be sent by 29 October 2026, 2:30 pm Pacific Time to: Andrew Jacobs, Contracting Officer at [email on the source notice] and LCDR Ryan T Ostrander at [email on the source notice]. Shortly after receiving responses the Coast Guard will determine if this requirement will be set aside or unrestricted. After the determination a request for proposal will be posted on www.sam.gov.
