2027 Water/Wastewater Treatment Chemicals IFB
The City of Bismarck, North Dakota is requesting bids for the supply of bulk pebbled quicklime, liquid phosphate blend, chlorine gas, sodium hypochlorite, sodium bisulfite, ferric chloride, fluorosilicic acid, liquid ammonium sulfate, liquid carbon dioxide, and liquid calcium nitrate for calendar year 2027.
Bids shall be sealed and endorsed “2027 WTP/WWTP Chemical Bids” and must be received by the City of Bismarck no later than 3:00 pm CST on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at 4:00 pm CST on November 3, 2026, physically in the City/County Building at 221 N.
5th Street and virtually using Microsoft Teams.
To be eligible for consideration, each bidder must provide the following:
Bid Form (furnished by the city)
A typical Certificate of Analysis (CoA) which shall at a minimum include the following: Trade name of product
Name of source and supplier(s)
Chemical composition and percentage of impurities
The Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Technical Data Sheet (TDS), and NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certification.
Supporting documentation of bidder’s ability to meet the product delivery requirements.
Information regarding the ability to fulfill training and support requirements.
Bids must be submitted on the form furnished by the City of Bismarck and must comply with all specifications and conditions noted in the Invitation for Bids (IFB).
