Notice of Funding Availability Overview
The City of San José (“City”), through its Housing Department (“Department”), is soliciting proposals for FY 2027–2028, with an option for renewal, to support housing, homelessness, and community development activities funded by federal sources. The City is pleased to announce the availability of funding through four federal funding sources: the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). The City is seeking projects that advance the priorities of the 2025-2030 Consolidated Plan, respond to demonstrated community needs and are positioned to begin implementation.
Applications will be accepted only through Biddingo, https://www.biddingo.com/ no later than Friday, February 5, 2027, at 4PM PST.
