Context
Approximately 166 parcels owned by the City of Cleveland Land Bank within Ward 7 are being targeted for development via this RFP. Encompassing portions of Detroit Shoreway, Ohio City, Tremont, Stockyards, Clark-Fulton, and the Cuyahoga Valley, this Ward’s available Land Bank land is positioned for residential infill development. These parcels, with a median square footage of 3,023 sq ft, total over 13 acres of land in the City’s near west side.
With approximately 105 parcels located in Land Bank designated Market Rate areas and 61 parcels in Opportunity Market areas, the City is positioning this land for residential infill development with land bank sale proceeds intended to support other policy goals like affordable housing. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals for development of their chosen parcels alongside bids [1] for the purchase of those parcels.
