The City of Tampa Logistics and Asset Management Department Fleet Maintenance Division (FMD) is requesting proposals from qualified companies to manage and conduct public auction services , both live and/or onlin e, for a wide variety of City-owned surplu s items by maximizing revenue opportunities to be returned to the City through approved commission-based sales.
The Logistics and Asset Management Department/Fleet Maintenance Division (FMD) maintains an extensive fleet of vehicles and equipment that are essential to the delivery of municipal services. The fleet includes Light, Medium, and Heavy Trucks (Class 2 through 8, 6,001–80,000 lb. GVW), Construction Equipment and Industrial Equipment of various American and Foreign manufacturers.
These vehicles and equipment support a wide variety of City operations, including public safety, emergency management, sanitation, transportation, and general municipal services.
