Sports Team and Facility Development Feasibility Study

The City of Long Beach is seeking qualified firms to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate the opportunity to attract a professional sports franchise in Downtown Long Beach and develop a premier sports and entertainment venue along the waterfront. The study will assess market demand, financing strategies, public-private partnership delivery models, site suitability, facility programming, economic and fiscal impacts, and implementation recommendations.

Pre-bid conference: Optional virtual info session to be held via Microsoft Teams at 10:00 AM (PT), September 17, 2026. The link can be found in Section 4.1 of the RFP document.
