PROJECT NUMBER: DGS C-0572-0028 Phase 1 PROJECT TITLE: SCI Huntingdon – Roof Replacements PROJECT LOCATION: 1100 Pike Street, Huntingdon, PA 16652
This Project is advertising for PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS for design and/or engineering services.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work is intended to replace several roofs at the institution including the Old Superintendents House, Business Office, CI Manufacturing, Carpentry Shop, Soap Plant, and Housing Units. There are multiple styles and materials across these buildings including peaked structures with shingles and flat roofs with EPDM. The roofs on these buildings have reached the end of their useful life and are experiencing recurring leaks and failing insulation.
In addition to the roofing, the scope includes, but is not limited to the replacement of associated decking, flashing, and insulation as required.
ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $4,000,000.00.

The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Office of Business Inclusion and Supplier Development identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. Applicants must agree to meet all SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the project Trimble Unity Construct (previously e-Builder) solicitation folder for instructions regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation.
