Released: July 27, 2026 12:00 AM EDT Questions due (Question Submission Deadline): August 18, 2026 4:00 PM EDT Responses due (RFP Opening Date and Time): October 21, 2026 11:00 AM EDT
The Town of Manchester is issuing a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to qualified vendors who can provide live digital video school bus stop arm violation detection monitoring systems (the “Monitoring System”) and enforcement program (the “Monitoring Enforcement”) to enhance student safety for the Town and the Manchester Public Schools (“MPS”). This includes the installation, implementation, and operation of certain aspects of the Monitoring System, training and continuing performance of the hardware, software and supporting services needed for this system to function properly. The proposals shall be for a complete “turnkey” operation.
Respondents are advised that the award of a contract does not obligate the Manchester Board of Directors to adopt a local authorizing ordinance. In its legislative discretion, the Board of Directors may decide not to adopt the ordinance, in which case the project would not proceed and the Town of Manchester reserves the right to terminate the contract.
