RFP Number 10.7.26.1 - Playground Design and Installation
David Douglas School District No. 40 ("DISTRICT") is requesting competitive sealed proposals with the intent of entering into a contract with two qualified contractors for the purpose of designing and installing ADA accessible and inclusive playgrounds. The successful proposer(s) will design and install one preschool playground, but may complete additional preschool or K-5 playground installations, some work at existing playgrounds, and other projects on an as needed basis.
The proposer with the lowest cost will be awarded the initial installation of the one ADA Accessible and inclusive preschool playground.
Bidders must submit pricing, terms, and conditions based solely on the requirements, specifications, and scope of work outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
Proposals that reference, incorporate, or rely upon outside cooperative agreements (including, but not limited to, NASPO ValuePoint, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, King County Directors' Association aka KCDA, or State of Oregon cooperative contracts) for pricing, discounts, or terms and conditions will be deemed non-responsive and will be disqualified from further evaluation. All pricing submitted must be independent, firm-fixed, and specific to this solicitation.
The contract is for a public works subject to payment of prevailing rate of wage as provided in ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and additional future projects may be funded by federal funds requiring the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.)
