BACKGROUND The Department of the Navy (DON) is pursuing Pacific Greenfield, an effort to establish advanced manufacturing (AM) capabilities on Oahu, Hawaii. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks industry feedback on the site requirements, infrastructure, utilities, and diverse acquisition models (such as EULs, OTAs, IGSA, or joint ventures) needed to implement theater-scale production, thereby reducing reliance on long-lead CONUS based supply chains. The DON is prioritizing environmentally resilient concepts centered on industrial?scale facilities, modern manufacturing footprints, and construction?ready operational capacity that will simultaneously strengthen Hawaii's local workforce and broader economic development.
See attached RFI for full requirements and instructions. Questions submitted via email will be answered via a public posting on SAM.gov under the current RFI page prior to the close of this RFI.
