UAPI requires real-time streaming data for API consumption sourced from International Business Machines (IBM) Database 2 (Db2) for z/Operating System (z/OS). Due to the specialized nature of mainframe environments, it is essential to use a tool purpose-built for efficient, log-based change data capture.

Precisely Connect Change Data Capture (CDC) is designed specifically to handle highvolume, low-latency CDC from Db2 for z/OS and other IRS data source and architecture technologies, ensuring reliable and continuous data availability for downstream services without introducing performance risks to core transactional systems and offers mainframe-native, low-latency, log-based change data capture technology specifically optimized for IBM DB2 z/OS and iSeries environments.
