This Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish an annual contract for Laundry Concentrate Supplies and Services for institutions in the County of Sacramento in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications listed herein.
The products supplied to the County must be adaptable to a wide variety of equipment. The predominate uses are the high-temperature large volume operations at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center (RCCC) located in Elk Grove, the Youth Detention Facility in Sacramento, and the County’s Main Jail in Sacramento. The estimated annual quantity of the laundry concentrates are listed in Appendix I, Pricing.
The contract resulting from this RFB shall be for a one-year period commencing with execution of the contract by the Contract and Purchasing Services Division. For reasons of economy and efficiency, the County reserves the right to extend the term of this contract for four
- one-year terms, following the initial 12-month term upon mutual agreement between County and CONTRACTOR.
Per section 2.56.220 of the Sacramento County Code, this Contract may not exceed a period of five
- years and six
- months, unless authorized by the Board of Supervisors.
Award Date is anticipated to be on or around November 1, 2026, with Contract Period of Performance beginning on 12/1/2026.
Bidders must complete Appendix I - Price Schedule and submit via OpenGov by the deadline for submission of bids.
The County reserves the right to make a single award, multiple awards, or no award at all to this RFB. In addition, the RFB may be amended or canceled as necessary to meet requirements.
Bidders are hereby notified that the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred for proposal preparation or submission. All costs associated with responding to this solicitation shall be borne solely by the Bidder.
