Contractor shall furnish all expertise, labor, tools, equipment, vehicles, fuel, and crane as required to perform thinning, pruning, skirting, and removal of trees/shrubs/vines; chipping, removal/grinding of stumps, adjacent to energized power lines and any associated non-energized lines; clean up debris and proper disposal of all debris generated by the tree trimming operations including palm trees and palm debris to Caltrans. Bidder shall have at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a current and valid C-49 Tree and Palm Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) for the type of work to be performed. Bidder shall have at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement a valid and current Arborist Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture.
This will be verified by Caltrans Contract Manager prior to the start of work. Bidder shall at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement have a valid and current certification and annual training as a Line-clearance Tree Trimmer as defined by OSHA regulations under 1910.269. Bidder shall possess at the time of bid submittal, continuously thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
Caltrans will verify bidder¿s DIR registration; it is not necessary to provide a copy.
