At a minimum, the scenario based training should cover the following: basic HCIS principles, role-specific duties, roles and structure for HCIS; Incident Action Planning processes and concepts; applicable forms and guides; and, interaction with Emergency Operations Centers

T his HCIS training will be conducted as part of Region 4's regional exercise which will prepare facilities for severe weather, mass casualties, cyber attacks or disease outbreaks.. This training will allow hospitals to align with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Joint Commission emergency standards.
