The City of Tampa requires a comprehensive, full-service elevator maintenance and repair program for all vertical transportation equipment identified in the contract asset inventory and for any additional equipment later assigned by the City. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, licensed personnel, tools, equipment, transportation, communication devices, testing instruments, software, materials, replacement parts, documentation, and incidentals necessary to inspect, test, maintain, adjust, repair, troubleshoot, and restore covered equipment to safe, reliable, code-compliant, and service-ready condition.
Timely performance is an essential condition of the contract. The Contractor shall plan, staff, and perform the work so that preventive maintenance is completed when scheduled, service calls are answered within the required response times, and equipment downtime is minimized.
